Temporary tattoo Krichevsky

"Vasyl Krychevskyi" is a set of tattoos with meaning, created in collaboration with the enlightening and beautiful project "Tutechko". He tells about the Poltava region of a normal person, without Moscow myths and propaganda.The first hero of the project is the artist Vasyl Krychevskyi. Descendant of a Cossack elder, architect, graphic designer, collector, professor, creator of Ukrainian architectural modernism. At the beginning of the 20th century, he did the impossible: during the ban on all Ukrainian zivs in Poltava, a zemstvo building inspired by traditional culture and Cossack history. We embodied several trees of life from the facade of the building, which is now the Poltava Museum of Local History, in the form of a tattoo.When the Ukrainian People's Republic was established, Vasyl Krychevsky created, in fact, the brand book of the state, its visual style. These are the Great and Small coats of arms, based on the trident of Volodymyr the Great, as well as banknotes, seals, forms for state documents. In the set, you can see several tattoos with a trident by Vasyl Krychevskyi, which is 95% identical to the modern coat of arms of Ukraine.It is especially symbolic that since the beginning of the war in 2014, we have hundreds of stories when, in the temporarily occupied territories, people with tattoos in the form of state symbols were simply not allowed to pass through Muscovite checkpoints or were tortured in captivity.
